Default Last year chinese ddos attacks - anyone damaged by them?

Hi.Anyone had in last year/beginning of this year chinese ddos attacks?
I mean anyone have website/server which was suffering from chinese ddos attacks for week or more?
That motherhackers used DNS Poisoning to bring down sites/servers/clusters for weeks if not for monthes.
That incidents were also shown in media, especially internet media.
What it was look like - your site only avaible from china and not avaible from rest of world.
I used internetsupervision.com free service to monitor what happened.
And i solved that problem by adding some topper level dns servers of my isp together with old dns servers.
And if you had something like that, how you solved that?
Intresting to know.
Regards
Nick
