I view this new rank as Operating system Elitism and therefore believe the currnet ranking should be kept, and they are removed i will leave and therein denounce damonforms as Elitist community which is not accepting of new user in the lowest terms of the term Community Driven Software!!

Wow, I'm speechless.
I usually came to BSDForums because the advice is grounded and sound, but this talk about administering tests is scary. I think I can figure out what is reasonable information, and if I can't, well maybe I can learn something from following really bad advice. |

I see no problem with the one marked in the poll as Kienja's System or the Unix one. Although certain settings could be considered offensive to some, it is generally nice to see a sense of humour !
Forum ranks have no meaning, they just show how prolific a poster you are, or sometimes how old your membership is. They have no concept of peoples 'ranking', this is not an Army it is a forum. People make to big a deal about little stuff like this, I think this thread has some what, outlived it's usefulness. > Wow, I'm speechless. Be careful of reading post it notes on the side of bike sheds.

How about locking this thread? Hasn't it long ago passed the point of possessing any value?

I think it's part of the fun of a community forum that goes beyond the closed boundaries of what the forum's discussional purpose is.
