Agreed.

Our OpenBSD workstations with their complex desktop software carry risks which our OpenBSD routers do not.

I operate some directly-connected servers that do more than routing, but they are services which are as carefully provisioned as I can make them. For example, I operate two web applications "on" the Internet but they are not publicly accessible. Access to them requires client certificates for authentication.
