Default Question about opensolaris and Cpu utilization

Question about opensolaris and Cpu utilization
I have installed OpenSolaris in a Amd single-core while i tried it on an Amd dual-core and I noticed that the use of cpu is very aggressive, where systems with Linux and bsd hardly reaches 100% utilization of processor, in the case of opensolaris tends to use it is stronger.

Someone with 4-core processors could tell (it's sufficient use it on livecd) if scale well on 4 core or merely use predominantly 2?

I have an AMD X2 4200 box that is about 3 years old..
It is going to be the new XP box..

I can also put OpenSolaris x86 on it and see if my results
compare to yours..

don't have a quad core Phenom... yet..
