How in the world do you get that? .NET is OK if you only run Windows and have a team of 10 programmers with nothing else to do.

I've been looking at Python with cheetah for web programming, pretty nice ... Python is a much better language than PHP IMO (Not that this is such a difficult thing to accomplish), only downside is web-server support isn't as wide-spread as PHP.

Python is on my list of "next language to learn". Many years ago, I put a site up that wasn't much more than "Hello, world" using Python and never touched it after that. Should have paid more attention.

I really like Python also. I use it for all my desktop needs on BSD and I've even been able to switch all of my command line programming at work in windows to it.
I just haven't had time to work with it on the web, but I think it had more potential then PHP but it just not as widely supported yet.
