Default SGI expands Lustre file system support, joins OpenSFS

From http://www.h-online.com/open/news/it...S-1242625.html

Quote:
SGI has announced that it is expanding its support of the Lustre high performance, distributed, parallel file system and will provide "level 3" and "complete end-to-end coverage" for customers. This brings the company's support of the open source file system to the same level as CXFSTM, SGI's own scale-up clustered file system.

[snip]

Lustre was a Sun developed file system which Oracle acquired when it bought Sun in April 2009.
