missing keyboard layout
Any chance for getting Estonian keyboard layout added into OpenBSD? It has got 2 other Baltic languages supported (lt and lv) but those are quite different from mine. I've been using German layout but it's got two serious disadvantages as subsitute layout. Swapped "y/z" and it lacks "õ" special character although it contains 3 others I need (äöü). Thank you.

Will be you using wscons directly or xorg? I think you can remap the keyboard via xorg or possibly pick one of the layouts closest to Eastonian and copy/edit to your needs. If that works the project would likely add the mapping if submitted.

wscons usually, not much use for a X
Ok, thanks I'll look into it. German layout is closest, perhaps Finnish running for the second best. Only lack one (KB_DE) and two characters(KB_FI), rest of the layouts are so uncomfortable and alien that it's usually easier to stick using US layout. |
