Please help us to help you, by posting the exact error message you received. If you can copy and paste the error message, that would be best, because you would avoid the possibility of introducing typographic errors from manually typing in the error message in a response.

Also, please note:

VirtualBox requires VT-x hardware on the hosting system to be able to boot OpenBSD, and according to comment 10 in this post I found on Google for just now, may also require I/O set to APIC in the System/Motherboard menu.
That link was the first hit in the results received from the Google search engine, using the two keywords openbsd and virtualbox.

Oracle does not support OpenBSD as a guest on their VirtualBox platform. Therefore, you are responsible for your own support of this guest OS. If you are unable to achieve this, you may wish to seek out alternative solutions to VirtualBox.

As I mentioned to you above, VT-x is required, and configuring I/O to APIC is likely to be necessary. Please let us know if you have already completed both tasks.
  1. Is VT-x enabled in your workstation's BIOS? This is normally a configurable setting. Not all processors have this feature, however.
  2. Have you set I/O to APIC in your VirtualBox guest configuration?

The error message is an ATAPI error message.

If you use an ATAPI CD-drive, maybe you've got a technical problem.

Edit : glad you found your solution
