PowerPC was dropped by Apple a couple of years ago, so I doubt there will be further developments in that direction.

The Raspberry Pi 3 appears to be one of the targets for the new arm64 architecture mentioned previously.

Quite a lot of electric power to play videos... It can not play Youtube HD and even 480p videos in web browser. There were problems witch Debian installation. Since Debian 9, Debian would not have official PowerPC(Mac) release.

I have just noticed an arm64 folder in my OpenBSD mirror:
http://mirror.ox.ac.uk/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/arm64/ The developers have been using PINE64 boards, apparently. |
