How to get optical spdif sound output

Code:

mixerctl -t outputs.mode

Followed instructions from : http://misc.openbsd.narkive.com/mcSt...i-4-and-s-pdif
Had to change "mixerctl -t playback.mode # this puts it in SPDIF playback mode" to my own example. Posting to ease research for others with same problem.
