Default libgcrypt shared version bump. UPDATING implies too much or not rebuilding?

libgcrypt has been bumped.
Freshports.org reports several
(40 ) ports
had their portversions bumped due to
needing rebuild (libspectrum, telak...)
Howsoever, UPDATING reports
"rebuild all that depend..." which
shows upwards of all gnome (here in
var/db/pkg/ )
...
Just wondering if anyone knows if the
UPDATING instructions should be changed
or are okay as is.
