Default makemandb has strange behaviour

My /var directory and partition is almost empty,
yet when I do some makemandb -fov
The output always says .var: write failed, file system is full
makemandb: database or disk is full

What does mean ? Why can it not make man.db bigger if it needs ?
I don't understand.
/var can not possibly be full, because I remplace the heaviest repertories by
symbolic link to the partition the racine lies within.

Thanks,
S_P

Thumbs up

I don't understand, but now it's allright.
Makemandb no more outputs error.
Yet, I do not do anything since.
I think we could close the topic.
I'll ask later if the problem happens again.

Thanks
