Unhappy zyd0: no link ........... sleeping

Hello!

I have just installed 4.7 stable and I'm completely crazy that I cant get my wireless usb stick to get contact with the AP.
I Use a Zyxel G-202 which seems to work fine with Zydas driver.
Dmesg gives this:

zyd0 at uhub0 port 3 configuration 1 interface 0 "Zydas Zyxel G-202" rev 2.00/48.10 addr 2
.
.
zyd0: HMAC ZD1211, FW 46.05, RF AL2230, PA 0, address 00:13:49:8 f: bc: 0C

And usbdevs -vd :

Controller /dev/usb0:
adres 1: high speed, self powered, config 1, EHCI root hub(0x0000), Intel(0x8086), rev 1.00
uhub0:
port 1 powered
port 2 powered
port 3 addr 2: high speed, power 500 mA, config 1, ZyXEL G-202(0x3410), ZyDAS(0x0586), rev 48.10
zyd0
port 4 powered
port 5 powered
port 6 powered

in hostname.zyd0 I have written the following (after reading ZYD(4))

dhcp NONE NONE NONE chan 11

when the network starts, I get this from dhclient:
zyd0: no link ......................... sleeping

If I search with ifconfig, you will find on my AP:
$ sudo ifconfig zyd0 scan
zyd0: flags = 8843 mtu 1500 <UP, BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST>
lladdr 00:13:49:8 f: bc: 0C
priority: 4
Group: WLAN
media: IEEE802.11 select auto (DS1 mode 11g)
status: no network
ieee80211: nwid Binah chan 11 BSSID 00:1 f: 9f: 78: a1: bb 23dB 100dBm
Binah chan 11 nwid BSSID 00:1 f: 9f: 78: a1: bb 18db 54M short_slottime

Regardless of whether I configure zyd0 according to the scaned data or run "sudo dhclient zyd0" directly, I get the same answer from dhclient.
I have tried with and without WEP encryption. I can get it to work with ifconfig in linux on the same computer.

Please help me...

Hello.
Which editor have you used?

Once upon a time I used MC's editor (mcedit). I also configured WLAN (and some other scripts, pf.conf, as far as I remember).

They began to work well only when I pressds 'enter' one more time - to have an empty last line. It looks to be important.

Have a try

That is not the problem, Lexus45. The problem is:
Code:
status: no network
The NIC is not connecting to the Access Point. DHCP won't work until the underlying radio connection is established.

As I've been saying, manually associate with access points.. you can't rely on the cards ability to automatically hop onto the nearest one, and you shouldn't.

# rm /etc/hostname.zyd0; ifconfig zyd0 chan 11 nwid Binah

Does that work? if so, just run dhclient(8) on the interface.
