Default OpenLDAP and MySQL

I'm getting nuts with this OpenLDAP issue here...

I am trying to configure OpenLDAP to use the sql-backend, without any success!

I tried to compile the ports-version, enabled sql in make config, but when running slaptest -u it complained about "unknown database <sql>".

So went to compile the original source-code from www.openldap.org. The configure script fails with: configure: error: BerkeleyDB version incompatible with BDB/HDB backends

I googled around and found a load of messages like "read the faq!" or "this question has been answered around a thousand times". Well, I could not find anything, neither in the README nor in the website FAQ, whereever.

I tried, as I've read something about Berkeley issues to use the 4.2 version, which compiled fine, but no change...

I'd be real happy if someone, who has a running OpenLDAP/MySQL combo on FBSD 7.0, to point me in the direction, what I am doing wrong...
