Php editor for FreeBSD?
Hi!
What php editor for FreeBSD do you use and recommend? I have a Windows machine with NuSphere PhpED for writing my php scripts, but I need a php editor for FreeBSD too. I can't find anything in the ports tree. So, what php editor do you use under FreeBSD?

http://geany.org/
It can serve as a full IDE: http://geany.org/Documentation/Screenshots .. or as a simple small editor: http://toya.net.pl/~vermaden/gfx/fluxbox-geany.png It supports a lot more languages along with snippets, while being small and not bloated.

jEdit is also pretty cool. There are tons of plugins you can use.

Really? Great then, you do that. Let him know that I'm buying him a beer if he ever drops by Belgrade or I have more spare time next time I come to NL.

While you're at it, maybe you can also inform Mr. Bluefish author that using flash for screenshots on his website is not a good idea if he wants to get a large(r) FreeBSD userbase.

Like Carpetsmoker, I use Vim for PHP work, typically I have an ftp/sftp session open in another term to upload my changes but I believe vim has a plugin for more seamless network editing now.
GNU Emacs, XEmacs, jEdit, and /usr/bin/vi are also good choices and work on almost any OS, unless you want a full blown IDE (although most editors I've mentioned can be). *Knows nothing of PHP based IDEs, as he does not use often formal IDEs.

quantaplus is easy to work with, although I'll use jedit, vim or even ee in a pinch.
