icewm
Hello,
I use wmaker normally by I wanted to try icewm for a change. Here is what I did: pkg_add icewm adapted .xinitrc to include exec icewm-session startx Icewm starts as expected. However all icons and window decorations are not displayed correctly. They all look like.... scrambled. Anyone an idea? |

Do You have the same 'display' problems with other WMs?
For example with default twm(1) or openbox/fluxbox for example? It may be 'corrupted' package, but also a graphics driver problem, what graphics card You have there? Unfortunelly I am not a strict 'OpenBSD person' so I do not have a knowledge about current state of various graphics drivers on OpenBSD/xenocara but others will speak out here about that.

Its an integreted intel graphic card (do not know exactly which one).
When I use window-maker there is no problem. I actually had the same problem with icewm on an other pc. Perhaps its a package problem indeed... |

I would report that to maintainer of that port, along with Your screenshot, IMHO if other WMs work/display properly, then its a 'broken package issue'.

Thanks, I will do that.

A couple of things to check:
1) Is imlib installed? 2) There was a rendering issue on big endian machines - not sure if this was corrected for your version http://www.icewm.org/FAQ/IceWM-FAQ-3.html Quote:
