Default Porting Linux applications to the BSDs

CyberJet posted today about BSD Magazine's August issue, and it's cover story of FreeBSD memory file systems. The thread is in the FreeBSD General forum, with a link to the issue.

I think that Antione Jacoutot's article, Puffy the Hobbit: The Challenge of Porting GNOME 3 to OpenBSD will be broad interest to all who are porting applications or maintaining ports, from the simple to the complex, and for any of the BSDs. It begins on page 40.
