Default Can't turn off laptop speaker

My Intel HDA (ALC883) works fine with OpenBSD, but for one problem: the laptop speakers won't shut up, and there doesn't seem to be any channel or switch to control them. How can I turn them off? Are there options I can pass to the kernel or something?
