Default Changing IDE to SCSI

I currently have a system using a IDE disk, and im trying to change the disk to a SCSI disk and boot from this..

Ive cloned the IDE disk to the SCSI disk and used FreeSBIE to change the fstab.... but it still fails to reconise the disk...
is there anything else that I should be doing...
