Default CVS or openports.se?

In addition, the same information can be mined from the Project's CVSWeb interface:

http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvswe...xxxterm/Attic/

The point here is that the Project makes a number of tools available making questions like these easy to answer yourself. All that is necessary is a modicum of curiosity & the ability to read the documentation.

Thanks.
I'm changing habits .. I used to just check Openports.se for removed or new packages.
I admit a fact : I'm terribly slow at adjusting and readjusting.

While http://openports.se/ can be convenient, it also is down a lot. It is also a third-party tool which has no affiliation with the Project proper. If its administrators decided to take it down tomorrow, there is nothing preventing them from doing so. Knowing how to use multiple tools provides more options since some tools are better for a particular task than another.

As you should soon learn, the Project's most important asset is its repository of all code for the system + package system infrastructure. Becoming proficient in using CVS will help answer many problems & questions.

Change is the only constant in the Information Technology world. Yes, people are creatures of habit, but don't let this become an excuse. The Project evolves, & the tools do too -- constantly.

Discussion has been split from its parent thread.

I'm the one who digressed from the original topic, so a new thread has been created because of it.

Sir @ocicat ,Thanks very much !
You are right , it should not be an excuse eventhough it is a fact.
Piaget once said " Intelligence est adaptabilite" (fr)
Some are less fortunate to quickly/easily adopt to certain varying environments .. as clear for some here: (http://news.slashdot.org/story/12/06...o-good-workers)
