Post differneces netween bsd, bsd.mp and bsd.rd.

Hello, as a new user of OpenBSD i just noticed there are more 'bsd' in the root directory of my operating system, but i just use one, "bsd". What is purpose of bsd, bsd.mp and bsd.rd and what are the differences? Thanks.
