Required packages for running X
Hi all,
Decided to purchase my first laptop and I would like to run FreeBSD on it. However, it is only relatively slow compared with what I'm used to and so am hoping I can keep things to a minimum. I have found this through google: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/f...st/125752.html but note that it is now a year old. Are these packages the bare minimum for working X install? If not, where am I able to find this information? ${PORTSDIR}/x11-servers/xorg-server ${PORTSDIR}/x11-fonts/font-cursor-misc ${PORTSDIR}/x11-fonts/font-misc-misc ${PORTSDIR}/x11-fonts/font-alias ${PORTSDIR}/x11-drivers/xorg-video-drivers ${PORTSDIR}/x11-drivers/xorg-input-drivers Thanks, enpey |
