Terminal types
Hey y'all
I use a linux computer to manage my OpenBSD server via serial port. I have benn useing a software that only supports vt102 and ANSI emulation. and I cant get it to work very well when i set it to vt102 in the ttys file i have trouble editing files correctly in vi and when i have it as ANSI vi says thats and unknown terminal type. is there a way i can get OpenBSD to play nice with eithor of these terminal emulations. are these terminal emulations even supported? |

A list of valid terminal types are in /etc/termcap, vt102 is one of them.. there are several ansi entries as well, case sensitive.
Perhaps you can mention which terminal emulator you're using? can you try explaining in greater detail the problems you're experiencing? |
