Good thing about Javascript in browsers is diversification of implementations and open sourcesness of some of them in contrast to Flash which has one major implementation and this implementation is closed source.
I know that this diversity is small. You have: 1. Firefox 2. Chrome/Chromium and a lot of Webkit/Blink clones 3. Closed source products from Microsoft: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge. It is not too much, but it is still more diversified than just one implementation of Flash Player. |
