Default scan to pdf

Good morning everybody,

one of our users with an XP workstation wants to use her HP 7670 scanner to send her documents.

so a KISS solution is needed: Put document in scanner, open software, type email-adress, scan.

Any ideas?

btw, it should be really really really really really really simple. Really

Acrobat.

File -> Create PDF From Scanner

Scan Document

File -> Email

Or is that top complicated for the user?

It it, with a 99% chance, one click too much. So much for the user's skills. But Acrobat seems to be the only solution as user-friendly as possible for this task...

You probably know this, but many scanners come with (Windows) software that converts the file directly to a PDF. Then you just email it using the usual tools.
