Default Transmission

Hello there.
I've been using deluge for a while. I think it's a quite good torrent tool. But yesterday I decided to check transmission. Installation from ports failed with "unknown build error" of transmission-gtk2. However pkg_add worked well.
Now I have no problem with CLI version, but anytime I launch GUI version I get this nonsense.

Sure I checked top and even ps -aux.

check if there is some kind of hidden lock file in your home file related to transmission. If it exists delete it

I haven't used transmission, it's my blind guess.

I use rtorrent, and i suggest you do the same

Since the CLI version works, it sounds like the GUI version just got left in some weird state. Restart X and try again. If that doesn't work, try deleting ~/.transmission. (I'm not sure if that's what it is really called -- I don't have transmission installed on this workstation.)

Indeed there is a "lock" file in ~/.config/transmission directory. But deleting it was no good. Seems like application creates it at start up then fools itself by reading the file instead of doing other way round.
