Running proprietary software compiled for other systems is always going to be trial and error.. and quite frankly if you're going to rely on it, you should deal with the problems yourself instead of asking someone else to do it for you.
There are other more portable ways of going about backups. |

I'm not relying on this or asking for anyone to do it for me. I'm just experimenting and was hoping maybe someone else had tried this and made it work. The FreeBSD FAQ said that it can run SCO OpenServer software when the right ports are installed so I followed some different readme's but still can't get the .elf file to install. I certainly wouldn't rely on a half-assed cobbled together system for production use. I'm just testing and learning, filling the ole noggin with knowledge.
