Hotows and FAQ
Old bsdforums.org had some really excellent threads for nOObs like CUPS thread or for instance thread about digital cameras. Either the admin should transfer those threads here or 10-20 basic topic for n00bs should be covered in the new howtos. Of course they can be found all over the net but it never hurts to repeat them.
Personally, I would not mind writing down generic (applicable to any BSD flavour) Howtos for X server configuration, LPD, CUPS, SANE, Digital Cameras and couple other really basic things for desktop users like mounting file systems or burning CD/DVD. That would give a head start to a n00b.
