Question Any shell script to remove the files...

... seen that are "extra" in the .jpg attatched here? File listings too long... "extra" files too random within the file list...

I'm not really sure what you're asking. Which files here are extra? Which ones do you want to delete? Why can't you just run rm on them?

/usr/local/bin, for example, one paginates 500 screens and two of them have the weird files with an extra mixture of letters-numbers as suffixes, after I have paginated down 100 of the 500 screens to check. I could run rm on them, but they recur and I don't have the time to do it every so often. Just wondering if there was a "smart" regex to check upon suffix and put it in a shell script. So it is
a question of automation.
In the jpg above, two g* ports have suffixes that are wrong and the one man3 entry near the bottom, a total of three.
