Wireless Card on T61
I installed freebsd on my laptop, which is a T61
I checked lenovo's website, and my network card can be either one of these two:
1) ThinkPad 11a/b/g Wi-Fi wireless LAN Mini-PCIe US/EMEA/LA/ANZ
2) Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
I doubt that either one are ath0 drivers. How do I find out which drivers are correct for each of these cards;
and where can I find a tutorial to configure this?
The freebsd handbook doesn't help. it only offers ath0 support
I think dmesg might be good for this. Try running it in the terminal. Also, there are specific versions of the T61, so it might vary based on the version. Do you know the specific model of your laptop?
EDIT: Another look at the Lenovo website shows that only the versions specifically designed for Linux come with the Intel card. The others don't.
