Default Sharity light

Has anyone got much experience of this with vista?

I've got a folder shared out on my wife's Vista laptop, I've checked the sharing and security permissions on it.

I try to contact it with sharity:

Code:
shlight //Lesleys_laptop/USB_Backup winmount/ -U username -P password
-
error connecting to server: [13] Permission denied

I've checked the command a couple of times, double checked spelling of the username, password, still to no avail.

Why would you use sharity-light, when the kernel supports SMBFS, and you can just use mount(8)?
