Default Trying to install elinks via ports. Not having luck. Need help.

Hello! I am trying to install elinks from ports and I got the following error code messages below. I tried deinstalling elinks and running make build again and make reinstall but no luck. I am new to FreeBSD and I want to know how to fix a broken port. If that's what is going on here. I looked up these error codes and I tried their fix suggestions per the freebsd handbook. Still no luck. Can someone suggest a solution. Thank you for your time.

basically means that the patch failed, if you check wikipedia for a page on the unix patch utility you'll quickly get the idea of what this means. Because the patch process failed, make has aborted the build process of cups-base, intern causing the overall make to fail due to missing dependencies (error code 1).

I would suggest cleaning out the relivant distfiles in /usr/ports/distfiles, updating the ports tree if necessary (elinks last updated 4weeks back, cups-base 3 weeks back), and try again. (distfiles are basically the source tarballs that make downloads to build the app)

Thanks terryP! I gave your suggestion a try and it worked. I have "elinks" now installed via ports and it works just fine. I had to update my ports tree, and I did clean out the old distfiles in question. Thanks a lot!
RR.
