Default RAID 10 on FreeBSD

Hi,

I searched on google about setting up software RAID 10 on FreeBSD. I got some information on how to do it but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and if its a complicated step? Has anyone setup a software RAID 10 on FreeBSD before?

I've been hearing a lot about ZFS. Now here's my question: Will ZFS allow me to configure RAID 10 or does ZFS works in a way similar to RAID 10?

yeah you can do that with ZFS but it's still experimental so i wouldn't use it in production at least till 8.0 is released!

gmirror provides RAID1, while gstripe provides RAID0. Just layer one on top of the other, and you have RAID1+0 (or RAID10).

Thanks guys. Now I'm not on dark anymore on how to do that. I'm gonna try it and see how it goes.
