Default AMD64 Problems? anyone?

I wonder if anyone can install xosview and run it on AMD64?
I get a core dump.

It built without issue, but when I try to run it, I get a segmentation fault.

thanks for your help.
I isolated it to a call on XAllocSizeHints somewhere in X libs.
I need to work out where the appropriate bit of X is.

i can't get pmwiki to work either, i think php5 may be broken.
I had a seg fault on xlife too but i submitted a patch for that one.

It seems quite a bit of AMD64 is busted.
on first glance at least.
