In fact, they are just another example of the 'Station wagon full of magtape" effect - there will always be a point where physically shipping a data medium will be more efficient - and for a 1/2(?)gram uSD card, a pigeon is a remarkably efficient shipping method, if you don't count feed and initial transport of the bird, that is.

When I read this, I nearly fell out of my chair:

Quote:
What if the work is not much longer than the license itself?

If a single program is that short, you may as well use a simple all-permissive license for it, rather than the GNU GPL.

because I realized that with how BIG the GNU Public License is, you can write non some nice trivial software in that bloat range, then I thought about someone cramming an OS kernel into that FAQ's definition xD

This one gave me a pretty good laugh:

I wonder what's going on in the picture ... Normally these cars get their power from a net above, but it looks pretty real ...

It looks a little higher off the ground than a real dodgem should be. I'd suspect he's mounted it on go-cart chassis, and left the pickup on it for laughs. Laughs that the law don't seem to be sharing, it appears. He's a typical geek (although, is he a little off kilter? I suppose he could be standing on one foot - which is a typical geek stance!), so he'd be the type to do it.
