Default How to turn off the screen of my laptop?

Hi all:

I am running OpenBSD with my laptop. This system will run as a server and I manage this system with another Debian desktop. Thus, the X system is not started.

What I want to achieve is turn on my laptop and then turn off the screen, then I do everything via ssh from my Debian desktop. However, I find the screen of this laptop is still on, even I don't touch the keyboard for a long time.

I know I can close the screen, but I thinks there should be another way to turn off the screen without closing it.

Hi fender0107401 !
This works for me : xset dpms force off
I can't find how to do it with apm

you may consider this setting in /etc/wsconsctl.conf
display.screen_off=

Both methods do not work for me. I will try FreeBSD.
