Default My RPi and SD card

At this point have just been trying different distros with my RPi. I've purchased a bunch of SD cards and been testing each to see what my preference is. One thing I did find is the device is VERY fussy regarding which SD will boot without issues, had to review the hardware compatibility list after purchasing one that continually generated a kernel panic.

Split from its parent thread as discussion has moved from compatibility with OpenBSD (The Raspberry Pi is not currently compatible with OpenBSD...) to experience seen on Linux.
