Default syntax changes PF

Hello,

What are the syntax differences in PF after version 4.5?
In some clients still use it.

Thanks!

Welcome!

pf(4)'s grammar is stated at the end of the pf.conf(5) manpage. The project's manpage Web interface will allow you to display by release version number:

Additional information regarding syntax changes can be found in each Upgrade Guide. The changes between 4.5 and 4.6 were highlighted in the Upgrade Guide for 4.5 to 4.6. There have been continous improvements in the years since; if upgrading these older platforms you should review each applicable Upgrade Guide.
