Default OpenBSD 5.5 errata

There are a number of patches listed for 5.5 prior to May 1st. Have those patches been included in the 5.5 release today? Do we need to do patches1-4?

Yes, you do have to apply them, which is why they have been published. Releases are engineered several months before their release date, to meet CD production and distribution timing. Once set, they are never changed.

Thanks, mate! I appreciate the help. I now have a better understanding of the protocols used for OpenBSD patches.

hitest, you may find something of use in a post I made some time back explaining OpenBSD's development model, & how the CVS tags used in each cycle relate to each other:

For the sake of completness, there is now a second option. M:tier provides "binpatches" which install using pkg_add(1)

M:tier will additionally provide binary package updates for locally added packages like www/firefox-esr.
