Default where might I find 'libcamel'?

Where might I find 'libcamel'. It's not in the ports tree and searching for it is proving elusive. I need v.2 .. the one that is needed to compile gnome2.

Thanks!

Damien

On my system:

[ adamk@memory - ~ ]: pkg_info -W /usr/local/lib/libcamel-1.2.so.11
/usr/local/lib/libcamel-1.2.so.11 was installed by package evolution-data-server-2.22.1.1

well evolution-data-server doesn't get past the 'configure' stage...I get an error message stating that it needs libcamel v.2 and that only 1.2 is available.

Unfortunately I did not receive PSI lessons at school, and cannot extract the error message from your mind.

Could you please post the error message?

You could try installing/updating/reinstalling databases/evolution-data-server, but my reading of the Makefile and pkg-plist indicates that version 1.2 is the current version of libcamel.

(Should I make a joke about a libdesert? Strangely, google provides practically no hits for that word!)

Strange, most strange. Libcamel is certinly at 1.12.1, and wanting any version higher than that is an error.
It is unlikely to be a problem with a download from any country, although I will caution you that several of the .au cvsup servers are not up to date. All distfiles have their MD5 (and optionally SHA256) checksums verified.)

Anyway, try this: (if you don't have sudo, then su to root, and ignore it)
Code:
cd /usr/ports/evolution-exchange
script ~/evolution-exchange-build.txt
sudo make clean
sudo make
^D
(that last line means control-D)
If that fails, could you attach the script file generated (~/evolution-exchange-build.txt) so we can see exactly what failed?
If it works, then go right ahead with portupgrade/portmaster-ing it. Specify the -w option (or -C for portmaster), and they will not have to rebuild the port.

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GNOME_PLATFORM_CFLAGS
and GNOME_PLATFORM_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.
Please run the gnomelogalyzer, available from
"http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/gnomelogalyzer.sh", which will diagnose the
problem and suggest a solution. If - and only if - the gnomelogalyzer cannot
solve the problem, report the build failure to the FreeBSD GNOME team at
gnome@FreeBSD.org, and attach (a)
"/usr/ports/mail/evolution-exchange/work/evolution-exchange-2.22.2/config.log",
(b) the output of the failed make command, and (c) the gnomelogalyzer output.
Also, it might be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed
on your system (i.e. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). Put your attachment up on any
website, copy-and-paste into http://freebsd-gnome.pastebin.com, or use
send-pr(1) with the attachment. Try to avoid sending any attachments to the
mailing list (gnome@FreeBSD.org), because attachments sent to FreeBSD mailing
lists are usually discarded by the mailing list software.

But it is good to see that you fixed the problem. I still don't know why it was looking for libcamel > 1.2, but it's fixed.

It didn't use the EVO_VERSION.
