Fair point.

Why though, does it take ~ 1min 40sec to boot into freeBSD, but in the order of 3mins to go from the console into fluxbox (via way of startx, with ~/.xinitrc reading "exec fluxbox"), while booting into fluxbox using a liveCD of SLAX or Vector Linux etc it takes 10-20 sec from the console into fluxbox (Perhaps longer, but I didn't consider timing it, so it can't have been that long). (Although it takes 2min30secs + to boot Vector Linux to console when I installed that)

Can I reduce the time it takes starting X, or is this something I will have to live with if I am to keep FreeBSD on the system?
