my firefox start very slow in openbsd 4.4 . What are the possible reason that make the firefox startup slow?

I also found that some of the command start very slow in my 4.4 machine. I don't know what cause the problem.

If you want us to guess:

• FAQ 8.22 might apply.
• You may have insufficient RAM
• Your video configuration might be a problem
• You may have a failing disk drive causing read retries, delaying I/O.

Firefox consumes lots of resources when booting. Watching top(1) in another window while Firefox is booting will show how the system responds.

one should know where its cache is. After each instance of
using firefox I clear its cache:
#source ./remove_ff_cache.sh #synonymed for clarity
can do it if you start it from a terminal
#firefox3
and prewrite the .sh file

Sorry to step in but there is another possibility.
I experienced this until yesterday. My interrupt rate was at 82.9%, so I disabled acpiprt and acpimadt in the kernel which fixed about 2-3 problems at once.

bsdnewbie999: run `top > top.txt` in console and then paste that top.txt somewhere. you may have the same problem as me.
