I would like to setup MPD to act as a PPP server over a serial null modem cable. I want to be able to share an internet connection over the cable. I gave up on PPPd because all the things I looked at are outdated. I still have some problems getting it running, like making the mpd.conf file and actually making the program run. I installed MPD (version 5.1) in the TBZ format. Here is the info that should be enough for the mpd.conf file:
Client's IP: 192.168.0.198 Host (BSD machine)'s IP: 192.168.0.199 Speed:57600 Port:sio0 Any info on commands would be good help too. I get this when I run "mpd &": freenas:~# mpd & [1] 1320 freenas:~# mpd: Command not found. |
