OpenBSD, OpenGL and 3D application : best recipe?
Hello
I tried to understand why some 3D applications, such as blender3D, or even stellarium, or youtube/firefox, it's not smooth at all ; I guess it's coming from my hardware (old asus laptop), what im wondering : is there a sort of table containing the GPU-compatible hardware with 3D software application whom can be used with openBSD? edit: details of my laptop: https://bsd-hardware.info/?probe=35a1818a41 thank you |

Posting a dmesg would be more helpful to see which parts of your hardware are and aren't supported...

Firefox is terrible resource hog, no suprise it's wonky. Especially when using YT, which is bloat of similiar grade The latter can be solved at least partially by getting a lighter browser. For 3D tasks get something with better GPU and CPU |
