Unhappy IPv6 only website

Hi!
The cheapest offer from web hosting is IPv6 only address, while the other options offer IPv4 + IPv6. Is it problematic to run a website with IPv6 only address? Do I need IPv4?

Many people still don't have direct IPv6 connectivity enabled by ISP and only have IPv4 connectivity.
I think you want to have IPv4 for your website too.

If you want a global public-facing website with unrestricted access, IPv4 remains a requirement. Internet connections in much of the world still do not have access to IPv6. I would recommend IPv6-only connections for internal services that are not public facing, or that are intended for use only in geographies that are predominantly IPv6.

Apparently I can only use IPv4, so yes, I agree with jggimi,....

Code:
Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be 201.144.xxx.x

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) appears to be Uninet S.A. de C.V.

No IPv6 address detected [more info]

You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 Internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites.

To ensure the best Internet performance and connectivity, ask your ISP about native IPv6. [more info]

We are sometimes unable to detect Teredo and 6to4 when using HTTPS. [more info]

Test with Dual Stack DNS record

Just like everything else, using or buying the "cheapest" generally gives you the lowest in quality, reliability, performance , etc. Web site hosting is no different, A cheap IPv6 only website would be next to useless, except under special circumstances, such as the ones mentioned by jggimi. You would also need to make sure, for example, all of the "internal services" have IPv6 , or all the users have it.

North America is an IPv4-centric continent. And for PapaParrot, it looks like his ISP uninet.net.mx does not have any IPv6 address ranges in the only ASN I can find for them: https://ipinfo.io/AS8151

@PapaParrot: why do not you use a tunnel broker IPv6 as tunnel.he.net?

I'll guess on PapaParrot's behalf. The majority of North America's Internet users do not require IPv6 connectivity day-to-day.

As an example of this, daemonforums.org is only reachable via IPv4.
