Hi.
I have fired up an old machine that had stopped working (diagnosis: bad RAM stick or socket). AMD Phenom II X3, 2.8GHz, says post. The specs say 16GB RAM max but I have an HP Elite 8200 that has a 16GB RAM limit but sees 32GB just fine - posting from it now. Does anyone have any experience with this MB and it's "true" RAM limit? I have a server that could use a couple more disks and this case could do that so I wouldn't be looking at new build. Will be using ZFS and bringing over 32GB RAM, if it sees it. Really wouldn't be happy with 16GB. Thx! |
