linux to bsd : a hw test script?
hi guys
I have an idea, woud it be possible to create a script running on linux whom detects if the hardware, especially the wifi and the graphic card, are compatible and could be used with free/openbsd ? when I use hw-detect on openbsd, it sends it there : https://bsd-hardware.info/?probe=1e8b1ce39b the thing is, to avoid disappointing hardware or linuxians whom does not know nvidia and broadcom are not so well supported, to tell before "be careful, your hw is not going to be supported, with your wifi/graphics, just know it.." a such script would be good for linuxians adventurers? thank you |
