I was pleasantly surprised when NetBSD made ctwm the default WM

I always liked it and used it a lot in the old days. I still use it up on Large Monitors with NetBSD and sometimes Linux.

I still like and often use twm. SqueezeTitle, no icon manager, dot to left of window title to iconify, resize grid to right of title. Once your familiar with the position then drag style of doing things - its really pretty good, and in such a simplistic way.
