Default Eggdrop tcl error - Error: error reading "sock7"

hi all
i have been trying to use some tcls script for eggdrop on openbsd and im getting the following error

Error: error reading "sock7": Unknown error: 50327587

i have tested the same script on other linux distro and it works fine.

i think there is/are a/some dependency/s or lib missing, as a learner its really tough for me to figure it out. can any one help?

thanks in advance.

From a very(!) cursory glance this could be a tls protocol error.

The script you linked requires two extra packages from the OpenBSD ports collection on top of tcl8.5: tcllib and tlstcl. Unfortunately the latter is heavily outdated (the OpenBSD port is still at tcltls-1.6) and doesn't support TLSv1.3.
