Default 3 1/2 inch floppy disk drive

Did a little searching here for a 3 1/2 inch floopy disk drive to access some old pds basic programs created back in the day. Was thinking of using DosBox and it to review some old programs. Not much info here, so

Question:
1. Anybody using this type of drive to access vintage programs, if so what
drive would you recommend?
2. I did find one on Newegg very cheap that when reading reviews someone
indicated it was auto recognized and worked well with Ubuntu.

With security the way it is today, have any of you purchased from "Newegg" using CC?
Have you had any trouble contacting their customer serv etc?

I have bought from Newegg.ca using cc. No problems for that item, arrived by the estimated date, and the item works fine, so haven't had to contact customer service. I haven't heard any complaints buying off of Newegg, but I didn't check their reputation first, which would have been wise to do.

I have a 3.5" floppy internal on this machine with OpenBSD 6.6 and haven't tried to read a floppy on it yet.

Your post prompted me for fun to see if I could read one of the 3.5"s still sitting on my desk.

Code:
mount_msdos /dev/fd0c /mnt
and I'm able to read the MS-DOS 6.22 Setup disk, and open files like network.txt

I have no use for 3.5"s that I know of, but who knows, maybe someday

TKS

If you have the disks, I'd just use dd to make images of them, & then loop mount them to access your code.
